A Legoland Florida experience – after a great experience at Animal Kingdom Noah was really looking forward to this day, particularly because he loves to play with Lego. I’m not sure what exactly he was expecting though … He probably thought we were going to a place with a room full of mini Lego or Duplo where he could play all day long.
That’s not too far from the reality, considering that one of the attractions during the Legoland Florida experience is a room full of Lego to play with all day long, but when he saw all the attractions we could see how excited he was.
Of course he enjoyed Animal Kingdom a lot, and Magic Kingdom was yet to come. But a lot of factors probably made up his mind that a Legoland Florida experience was his favorite that week.
The good thing about a Legoland Florida experience is that this is not a crowded park. There are a lot of visitors of course, but we didn’t have to queue for a long time for the attractions. As I said, he loves Lego so he felt at home … And most importantly almost all the attractions are suitable for him. There were one or two attractions that he couldn’t try due to his height.
Just like at Disney, there are few attractions that it is advisable to go on first. One of them is the Pirate’s Cove Water Ski Show. As the waterpark was included in our ticket, and we saw some clouds that were indicating it might rain, we went to the waterpark so we missed this show.
Another one that we didn’t have the chance to see was the Cypress Garden, which is supposed to be very nice. There was not enough time, so again it will be kept for our next visit.
Some of the other attractions, like the Flying School, closed when started raining in the afternoon.
But despite the setback on the attractions mentioned above, we enjoyed it to the maximum (yes, that’s right … we, not just Noah). On some of them we looked like 3 kids the same age.
These are the attractions that we enjoyed that day:
Duplo Valley was the first real contact with this Legoland Experience, so it was a little bit difficult to take him out to visit another activities 🙂
Duplo Train
Wells Fargo Fun Town 4D Theater where you can see an entertaining adventure with characters from Lego.
Friends to the Rescue Live Show was not so much for the taste of Noah, so we left before the end of the show.
World of Chima
The Dragon in Lego Kingdoms was another one that made Noah’s adrenaline hit the roof. We were a bit concerned to begin with that a rollercoaster might scare him, but he wanted to go once, and twice … and three times. Crazy little dude!
After that we went to the waterpark and spent most of the afternoon there until it started raining.
Nevertheless, even when it is raining you have other things to do during a Legoland Florida experience… and we went to Imagination.
And the very last point that we visited was the Miniland… for Ruth that was amazing… I think she took more than 100 pictures just there 🙂 It was interesting to see that most of the places inside Miniland either were visited already or will be visited by us during our world trip.
In the end the day was short for us. But now we have the chance to visit Legoland in California or come back to the US soon. And when that happen we will surely spend a whole weekend enjoying the park with Noah.
Next stop, Magic Kingdom!
